Welcome to Suthanlites Siberian Huskies

Much like the ethereal beauty of the Aurora Australis, Suthanlites strives to capture the essence of the Siberian Husky. Though glamourous in the ring, Siberians are more than just showpieces. We're passionate to maintain the structure, type, temperament and other attributes to work as well as show. We searched the world, visiting from Alaska to Finland, gathering knowledge and selecting what we liked to embody the qualities worthy of a Suthanlites Siberian.

We are very proud to welcome you to our virtual kennel on the world wide web.  We hope that you will take the time to browse through our many pages, that showcase the Siberians that we have owned or bred, or that have been an influence on our breeding program here at Suthanlites.

Suthanlites is registered to Cheryl LeCourt.  Along with my husband Jon, we have a long time affiliation with the breed.  Our endeavours to date have led us to own and breed many Best in Show winners.  Our love the bred, and dog shows, also led us to developing our own line of Show Dog products.  Plush Puppy is now sold worldwide and used by many top breeders and exhibitors.  We couldn't be more proud of the success of both our dogs, their progeny and our product range.

We have a strong established show team lead by our man of the moment - Freddie - who under the guidance of Simon Briggs -  is the Top Winning Siberian Husky in the World (Number of Best in Show Wins).  This dog has also been #1 All Breeds in 2005 and 2006 here in Australia, and leading the way again in 2007.  We also have some very exciting up and coming youngsters in the wings, and our future breeding program here at Suthanlites will continue to incorporate some of the top producting lines in the world.

We sometimes have show prospects - either youngsters or titled Adults available to show homes for export.  All enquries handled in the strictist confidence.  On rare occasions we offer de-sexed pets to loving homes, and free lease arrangements to approved highly experienced and responsible show exhibitors. Through limited and careful breeding, we strive to capture the world's best to establish Suthanlites Siberians an influence for years to come.

18 April 2009 - Oscar (Ch Suthanlites Wild Fire) wins BEST IN SHOW
Oscar and his handler Vicki took out the top honours at Mt Perry Show Society today winning BEST IN SHOW under Mr A McQuire (QLD).....our Freddie son is showing a glimpse of the greatness of his father and we are sure there is more to come!

3 May 2009 - Flint (Ch Suthanlites Lite My Fire) wins BIS2 (Reserve in Show)
Flint and his new handler, Jarrod Tyler, made their Qld show debut together and what an impact they made. Flint won Best in Group under Mr T Pickering (NSW) and went on to BIS2 under Ms C Davis (NSW) at the Rocklea Show. Jarrod and Flint will be making selected appearances throughout 2009 and we are thrilled with their early success.

8 June 2008 - Oscar (Suthanlites Wild Fire) wins Junior in Show
Our lovely Oscar, is doing us proud. Today he won Junior in Show at Ipswich Kennel Club (Durack) under Mr J Peden (RSA) and Mrs B Banbury (UK).

October 2008 - Freddie wins his 146th BEST IN SHOW
Our wonderful Freddie won his 146th BIS under Clyde Rogers in Canberra - what a fabulous dog he is - a great ambassador for the breed and never lets us down. Well done Freddie.
